1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Nuxt QR Generator ("Nuxt QR Generator", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Nuxt QR Generator provides a free, client-side QR code generation service along with optional hosted tools. Our service allows you to:

Generate QR codes for various data types (URLs, WiFi, vCards, etc.)
Customize QR code appearance and styling
Optionally create shortened URLs for cleaner QR codes
Publish and share text through a note/code sharing tool (with optional syntax highlighting and optional expiration)
Download generated QR codes in multiple formats

3. Client-Side Generation

Important: All QR code generation happens in your web browser (client-side). We do not receive, store, or process the content you encode into QR codes unless you explicitly choose to use our URL shortening feature.

4. URL Shortening Service

When you opt to use our URL shortening feature:

We store only the URL you provide and generate a short link
The shortened URL is publicly accessible to anyone with the link
We reserve the right to remove shortened URLs that violate these Terms, including malicious or illegal destinations
Shortened URLs do not expire but may be removed at our discretion
You are responsible for ensuring your shortened links do not host malware, phishing, or unlawful material

When you share text or code through our note/code sharing tool:

We store the text or code you provide, along with formatting or syntax highlighting options and an identifier for sharing
Entries may be public, unlisted, or otherwise accessible to anyone with the link; do not treat unlisted links as private, encrypted, or durable
You may be able to set an expiration period or delete a shared entry; we may also delete entries at any time without notice
Content will not be retained for more than two years and may be removed sooner for operational, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons
Do not store personal information, passwords, API keys, secrets, financial data, or other sensitive information in this tool
You are solely responsible for the content you publish, including ensuring you have rights to share it and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law; we take no liability for the content you submit or any losses arising from its storage or deletion
This is a free, discretionary service provided without any promise of continued storage, availability, or recovery of data

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Nuxt QR Generator to:

Generate QR codes containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Create QR codes or shortened URLs that link to malware, phishing sites, fraudulent content, or other malicious payloads
Store personal information, passwords, keys, secrets, or other sensitive data in the note/code sharing tool
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Spam, harass, or harm other users or third parties
Attempt to circumvent security measures or overload our servers

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you encode in QR codes. By using our URL shortening service, you grant us a license to store and serve the shortened URLs.

Our Service

Nuxt QR Generator, its design, code, and documentation are owned by the site operator and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
